The bibisco app for iPhone and iPad is available on Apple’s App Store. It’s free to download, and you can start writing right away, no account or purchase required. If you want your projects to stay in sync with your other devices, you can add a bibisco Everywhere subscription afterward.
Download and Install #
- Open the App Store listing on your iPhone or iPad, or search for bibisco in the App Store app.
- Tap Get to download and install it.
- Open the app and start a project. There’s no sign-in required to write and save locally on your device.
Requirements: iOS 14 or later (iPhone), or iPadOS 14 or later (iPad).
What You Get for Free #
Without a subscription, the mobile app gives you the Community Edition feature set:
- Write and save projects locally on your device, with no account needed
- Export your novel and your novel project in TXT format
Please note: the mobile app doesn’t support importing a project backup file. This is mainly a technical limit, since mobile devices may not have enough memory to import very large projects, especially ones with a lot of images.
Projects on the mobile app stay local to that device until you add sync.
Syncing Your Projects with bibisco Everywhere #
To keep your projects updated across your iPhone, iPad, and desktop, you need a bibisco Everywhere subscription. Once you’re logged in on each device, changes sync automatically.
You can subscribe two ways:
- Through the bibisco website, via Lemon Squeezy, with monthly or annual plans
- Through the app, via Apple’s in-app purchase, monthly only. The App Store lists the current price under the app’s description; it’s slightly higher than the Lemon Squeezy monthly plan, due to Apple’s platform fees.
Both include a 14-day free trial, with no charge until the trial ends.

Managing an Apple Subscription #
If you subscribed through the App Store, your payment is billed to your Apple ID. To manage or cancel it, go to your Apple ID account settings rather than the bibisco app. If you cancel, you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
